In addressing the audience at The Financial Inclusion Summit 2019, Nuyens offers a different perspective on financial inclusion and opens her remarks by saying “It is important that we talk about climate change, when we talk about financial inclusion. How is population going to grow and evolve and how is climate change going to affect different parts of the world?”

For Nuyens “financial inclusion is important but it is even more important that we do everything we can to foster economic growth and development through partnerships.”
